20170611_131237My name is Mary.   Back in 1995, I had my first a child, a boy.  I grew up in a house with three sisters And no boys.  My child was tall and skinny. It was very difficult finding cute clothes for him.  This is when I realized just how little there was for him to choose on the market.  As he grew into an older boy and a teen boy, I seen that the marketing and stores were geared towards girls and women.  We made do, but shopping for him was always a task and nine times out of ten we came back home empty handed.

Fast forward 20 years and I now have my second child, a boy.  I have realized that nothing has changed in 20 years and there is still nothing no the market that is really cute for boys.

Now that I know how to sew this time around, I have found myself making my second child, coats, tops, shorts, capes, and costumes.  I see how much love and joy he gets wearing his special clothes that allow him to express himself.  He is only three, but I see how much he enjoys expressing himself through clothes.

That has lead me to create Phoenix Wear.  A birth of a new era.  In the millimum where girls have so many choices from accessories, to multiple clothing items to express themselves as individuals, boys do not have those same choices.

Phoenix Wear is designed to allow boys other options of clothing than just what you can find in the store.  It allows for customization and individuality through added elements of their personality built into their clothing.

I hope you will join me and my journey of helping our boys have the same choices as we allow from girls.  To change the market to a fair market.
